1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Recipe AI ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Recipe AI provides recipe discovery, meal planning, and grocery list generation services. The App uses third-party recipe data from Edamam API and AI-powered recommendations via OpenAI.

3. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are billed weekly or annually based on your selected plan
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in Account Settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policy.

6. User Content

You retain all rights to meal plans, saved recipes, and other content you create using the App. We do not claim ownership of your personal data.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Reproduce, copy, or resell any part of the App
• Use automated systems to access the App

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Recipe AI is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or nutritional information of recipes. Always verify dietary restrictions and allergen information independently.

9. Limitation of Liability

Recipe AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
